Rotaly Terms of Use

Agreeing to these terms

By installing or using Rotaly you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app; uninstalling it ends the agreement.

Your licence

Morocode LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Rotaly on devices you control, for your own purposes. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, and you may not decompile, reverse engineer or modify it except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted. The app, its name, its design and its code remain ours.

What it costs

This version of Rotaly is free. It contains no advertising and no purchases. If a future version ever offers paid features, the terms of that purchase will be shown to you before you buy anything, and Google Play will handle the payment and any refund.

Your data is your responsibility

Everything the app holds is stored on your phone. That means we cannot recover it for you. Losing or replacing the phone, uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage removes the data permanently. The app includes an export and backup feature; use it regularly if what you keep in the app matters to you.

Pay figures are an estimate

If you enter an hourly rate, Rotaly multiplies your hours by it and shows the result. It knows nothing about tax, national insurance, overtime rules, shift premiums, allowances, bonuses or your collective agreement. The number in the app is a rough guide for checking a payslip, not the payslip itself, and it is not advice about what you are owed.

Your rota is yours to keep right

Rotaly shows the shifts you entered. It does not connect to an employer’s system and cannot know about a change someone else made to your roster. Always check the rota your employer publishes.

Acceptable use

Use Rotaly lawfully. Do not use it to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights or privacy, or in any way that would harm another person.

No warranty

Rotaly is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that it will run correctly on every device. Android manufacturers restrict background work, notifications and alarms in ways we cannot control or fully work around.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Morocode LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, time or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use Rotaly. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Privacy

How the app handles your information is set out in the Rotaly Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes and ending the agreement

We may update these terms when the app changes. The effective date at the top will change, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version. You may stop using Rotaly at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop publishing or supporting the app at any time; an app already installed on your phone will keep working as it is.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, where Morocode LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
